Google has offered a three-month free trial of YouTube music for students in the US to put a strong foot in the online content-streaming category against competitors such as Netflix and Spotify.
The deal works primarily by signing up students for a $ 6.99 plan per month, which also includes YouTube Music, allowing users to use free services for three months.
