Google has many web application for webmaster but those are available only for verified user. So to become a verified user we must verify our domain in Google. To do this Google has many options and we can easily verify our site by using different method. I have already discussed and show you the tutorial about verification method by Meta tag and TXT record. And now I will show you another alternative method, by using Google Analytics a user can easily verify their domain ownership. Before proceed you should registered with Google Analytics. After that Just follow the below steps-
Step 1 Go the http://www.google.com/analytics/and Sign in to your account
Step 2 Click on Access Google Analytics and From Analytics dashboard click on Admin from top navigation.
Step 3 Now Click on ACCOUNTDrop Down option and click on Create new account. A new page will open. Now under Setting up your account fill up the form with your relevant information.
Step 4 Now Scroll down to the page and click on Blue color Get Tracking ID button. And now Google Analytics Terms of service agreement will display in a popup window. And click on I Accept button.
Step 5 After that your Google Analytics Tracking Code will appear. And Copy that code for further use.
Step 6 Now go to your Blogger account
Step 7 From Blogger Dashboard Click on -> Template -> Edit HTML
Step 8 Now locate <head> by Pressing Ctrl+F (Windows) or CMD+F (Mac)
Step 9 And Paste the copied Google Analytics Tracking Code after/below <head> And click on Save Template button.
Step 10 Now again Go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/ and Click on Sign in to Webmaster Tools, you will see the list of Domain. Just click on the domain that you want to verify.
Step 11 Locate Gear icon at the top of the page and click on Verification Details. Now Click on Verify using a different method.It will redirect to Verification option page.
Step 12 From there under Verification methods select Google Analytics radio button. And Click on red color VERIFYbutton.
Now Google will prompts to track the Analytics ID from your Blogger head section. If found then you will receive a verification success message.
